Decent food. Great service. Angie was so kind and went above and beyond for us even though it was minutes from closing time. Hope they can keep her around!
The fresh tortillas is what makes everything taste even better. A simple step elevates the food. Quick service, I was greeted when I walked in. Clean restaurant. My only negative is that the restroom does not have a changing table for mothers and their babies. In 2025 that shouldn't be happening.
I had previously cancelled Cafe Rio after an unfortunate experience at another location. I decided to give this location a try after a colleague recommended their salads. I'm so glad I decided to give them another chance. For just over $12, their salads are so large and filling that you can probably spilt it with someone. It's also included on their Daily Deals for Wednesday if you want to pay a cheaper price. I love that they have a different specials each day so you have the opportunity to try multiple menu items at a discount. I got the taco special tonight and forgot to take a picture, but it was delicious and filling. The food here is very flavorful, which is always a plus. I would recommend ordering online if you're not up for waiting because they do get busy around dinner time and it does take a while depending on what's being ordered ahead of you.
I love this concept. You get to make choices and customize your menu. Little of this or leave that off please, either way it's no problem. The food is so tasty and fresh and at this location the staff is Super. It's refreshing to be attended to by people who are happy to be working and seem to enjoy where they work! Clean and open and the smell of the food greets you as soon as you enter!
This place honestly does not deserve such a low overall rating! I work close by and come here quite often the staff is always friendly. The food is fresh and tasty, and especially the daily specials are very reasonably priced. Always happy to come here for a full belly of delicious food. Was very surprised to see such a little overall rating.
I can't believe I slept on Cafe Rio for so long, considering I've spent 8.5 years living in markets where they are located: DC and Henderson. I went for the first time this past weekend, and I'm definitely a fan. They are a fast casual concept where you can customize your meal, similar to the chains Sweetgreen, Cava, and Chipotle. On this particular occasion, I ordered the sweet barbacoa salad (easy on the cheese, tortilla strips and guacamole on the side, and subbed the creamy dressing for vinaigrette) and it was phenomenal! Everything tasted farm fresh, and it was loaded with flavor. Service was also a breeze, and I was actually quite impressed with the staff when they remained calm and composed while the guest in front of me hurled passive aggressive insults at them for not doling out extra fixings on the house. Great experience overall, and I'll definitely be back again soon.
